Cake Concepts is a New Zealand owned and operated business, making hand-crafted sweet and savoury products.
The story began in 1995 when a cake bakery was established in Browns Bay by Hasler Fine Cakes Limited. Four years later, the original owners sold the business to Hasler Fine Cakes (1999) Limited and, before long, the bakery moved to its current location, off Constellation Drive, and operated under the trading name of Cake Concepts. Innovative concepts in the cake and dessert industry increased demand for the brand and, in 2010, savouries were introduced. For over ten years during this time, Wayne was the bakery manager and, now in 2015, his company, Libertee Company Limited, has purchased the bakery and Wayne, along with his wife, Veronica, are building on the foundation of this well-established bakery.

Cake Concepts also has a solid retail base having become the first choice for many families. These customers have discovered just the right versatile products to suit every situation from afternoon tea to dessert treats, easy meals to birthdays and other special occasions.
Cake Concepts’ premises are in the heart of the North Shore of Auckland at 7b Ascension Place in the Rosedale / Mairangi Bay area. This location is conveniently close to the motorway, being just off Constellation Drive. The bakery is custom-fitted, spacious and user-friendly and has an approved Food Control Plan which uses HACCP applications. A retail shop operates at 7b Ascension Place. Wayne, the Managing Director, brings over thirty years baking industry experience to the business. He enjoys meeting people, understanding their requirements and supplying them with great products. His wife, Veronica, is enthusiastically involved in a variety of facets of the business. She is very often the person you speak with when you phone. Lisa, the production manager and patisserie chef, enjoys both the buzz of baking and the art of decorating beautiful specialty cakes. The rest of the staff are keen to see a good job done and contracted delivery drivers ensure the safe transportation of products to Auckland customers and to the depots for ongoing delivery to other areas.
