Cake Concepts, a New Zealand-operated business, started in 1995 in Browns Bay by Hasler Fine Cakes Limited. Acquired by Hasler Fine Cakes (1999) Limited just four years later, the bakery moved to Constellation Drive and expanded its offerings with savouries in 2010. In 2015, Libertee Company Limited acquired the business, successfully navigating challenges during the Covid pandemic.

Kiwi Taste Limited acquired the business in July 2023 and is dedicated to building on the solid foundation of this well-established enterprise.
